fiance visa/proposed civil partner visa for UK

UK Fiance(e) visa/UK proposed civil partner visa:

You can come to the U.K as Fiance or proposed civil partner of someone who is British Citizen or settled in the U.K. and you wish to get married in the U.K. This visa is generally granted for six months and you can not work or use public funds under this category.

Once you come to the U.K and get married then you apply for spouse/civil partner visa which will be issued initially for two and a half year probation period. After completing the first probation period, you would be able to apply for the extension. If you continue to meet the requirements of your visa/stay in the UK, this can lead to settlement visa in the UK once you have completed 5 years in the UK.
